IF WE THINK WE CAN'T THEN WE CAN'T

In life if we think we can't then we can't. There is nothing in life that we cannot do. Off course we have to remember that every dream and vision takes time. So we must also remember that when we have a vision or a goal to accomplish. Just because we cannot accomplish it right here and now does not mean we can't. The most important thing we must remember is that when we want to accomplish a goal we must be able to accept the time between our vision of our goal in our imagination and the time it takes to transform into real life. We must not be impatient and believe we cannot accomplish something just because we cannot do it here and now. We must be willing to be patient. For example, If your goal is to make a 4.0 this semester in school. We must be able to accept that this will not happen automatically but it will take the time and effort that comes along with getting a 4.0. We must accept sacrifice of delayed gratification to want to put aside having fun to study extra hard. We must accept the fact that the process will not be an easy one, but must know that if we keep our vision in our head and visualized on a piece of paper and perform the actions that follow and accept the struggle and pain that takes to reach the goal then we will achieve our goals.
The same goes for any physical activity. If our goal is to want to run a mile without getting tired and you have never exercised in your life then you cannot expect to see these results automatically. You must be willing to accept the hard work and determination that comes along with accomplishing this goal. You must accept the fact that some days you will hurt and will feel pain. But in the long run it may take a month or a few months. But know that you never can't do anything, it just takes the acceptance of time to reach your goal along with determination. So remember people there is never no such thing as can't . There is always you can, with the acceptance that it will take hard work and determination.

Help With Overcomming Depression.

-Here's is a list of small things you can do daily to lift up your mood and feel better about yourself each day.

Go out of your way to do something for someone else each day.

Look for the best in others and say something congratulatory to someone every day of your life.

Eat nourishing food and carefully plan your eating regime.

Exercise daily whether it be for only 10-20 minutes a day. ( Even in the comfort of your own home.) - A good example is to do sets of 10 push -ups until you can reach 100.

Learn to pray or meditate.-
Every morning and evening set on one side five minutes to pray. Surprised by this? Don't be. Praying is the most powerful healing process. Praying is simple. Talk to God about your concerns and ask him for inspiration and guidance in taming the Black Dog. Understand that He comprehends everything, so when you talk to him there is no point in being anything but completely honest with him, and most importantly with yourself. The Bible and the Koran teach that God is love and love is the greatest positive influence in calming the wayward emotions, which constitute depression. As well as - or instead of - prayer, meditation is an extremely helpful and effective way of taking a break from our anxieties and miseries and finding deep relaxation, tranquillity and renewed energy.

Start and End the day right.-
If you have a partner, when you get up each morning and when you go to bed each night, say 'I love you'. If you have children, tell them that you love them. When you see yourself in the mirror, say, 'I love you. We are having a rough time but you are doing well. We're winning. I'm proud of you and I love you.' That last person is the most important one today.

The doing me technique by Christina Diaz

This technique is designed to help you live in the present moment.

Have you ever watched the movie "Grosse Pointe Blank"?

In this movie, John Cusack is an assassin whose psychiatrist tries to persuade him not to kill. In a given moment, the psychiatrist tells John Cusack to repeat to himself "This is me breathing" to help him calm down.

In fact, this technique works to make yourself come back to the present. It is a great positive thinking exercise that you can practice anytime and observe interesting results.

For example:

Feel how more and more calm comes to you as you keep on repeating "This is me doing (whatever)".

If you are washing dishes, start by saying to yourself "This is me washing dishes". Repeat it calmly, focusing on the very act of washing dishes. Pay attention to the elements involved: the water running down the dish, the smell of the soap, etc.

As you repeat to yourself "This is me doing (whatever)", you start feeling relaxed. Other matters loose importance; you're giving orders to your mind to actively focus on what you are doing, and only that.hands diggingThen move on to the next task.

Keep on telling yourself what you are doing. "This is me walking upstairs", "This is me feeding the cat", etc.

After a few minutes of keeping focused and repeating to yourself what you are doing, you will probably experience a feeling of well-being and peace.

All stresses and worries may seem past or worthless. This is because your awareness of the immediate reality increases, leaving no room for thoughts about any other thing than the immediate present.

The Importance of Living in The present.

It is important to practice living day to day in the Present.

What this means is that we must not worry about the past or the future. When we think about life the only thing that matter and the only thing that exist is the present moment. That is what is happening in your life right now. What will happen in the next minute or hour will happen when that minute or hour comes, there is no reason to spend time being anxious or worrying about it right now because you miss out on enjoying the beauty of being alive in the present moment.

Most negative thoughts that we pay attention to are because we are bringing out worries from what happen in the past into the present moment. And because we are anxious awaiting for the future to bring us prosperity. But if we just worry about being positive in the present moment we give ourselves the opportunity to enjoy what the future hold instead of being anxious about it.

So ladies and gentlemen by reading this please remember to live the present moment to the fullest and enjoy it and do not worry about the past because there is no changing it and do not be anxious about the future because it does not exist yet. The only thing that exist is RIGHT NOW! so lets enjoy RIGHT NOW, because this moment will never be here again.

are just as hard to break as are bad habits."

Creating Positive Habits

A positive habit, therefore, it's an acquired positive behaviour or action.

It is actually quite easy to create good habits.

The problem lies in that we do not have a plan, a structure or any idea of how to go about it, and then "I wished I exercised more" stays in wishful thinking.

Here are some good habits that you may like to have:

  • Exercising.

  • Stop smoking.

  • Feeling calm and getting rid of anxiety.

  • Eating healthy.

  • Feeling better about yourself.

  • Being more appreciative of everything and being thankful daily.

  • Being more organized.

  • Meditating.

  • Facing the day with a positive attitude.

You can incorporate to your life any positive habit, if you are consistent enough to take a few actions repeatedly for a specific amount of time.

How to remain positive in a negative situation.

Many times we are put into situations where we become out of our comfort zone. We reach a point where our inner emotional feelings start to disconnect and we become unfamiliar with them. We become overwhelmed with anxiety. And we do not know what to do and we begin to panic.
Well first of all I would like to say that this is caused from our very own way of thinking when we are in any situation. Whatever we are thinking about in that certain situation is causing our bodies to react and become overwhelmed with so many thoughts, that we just begin to panic and don’t know what to do withour selves. We take our mind away from our body and we detached ourselves away from our own selves. But we can control our anxiety if we take to time to realize this feeling of uncertainty. Whether it be through strong breathing or meditation. But the key to these negatives feelings is when they happen, do not think to yourselves that something is wrong with you because you have them. But recognize that they are they, acknowledge that you have them and the minute you acknowledge they are there you can begin working to think positively to change them.
For example, If you become anxious in a large crowd of people. Stop take time to realize what you are thinking about, whether its how you appear to people around you. Stop and realize that you are telling yourself in your own mind thoughts to make you feel uncomfortable and no matter what the outside situation, once you realize this, begin to talk to yourself positively to make yourself feel better.
